Good to know

Is Starby free to play?

Yes. Starby is free to play, with optional in-app purchases and rewarded ads. No ads appear while you are playing a run, and rewarded ads are always optional. A short full-screen ad also appears automatically after about every fifth completed game, when you return to the Main Menu or press Restart. A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes those between-game ads; rewarded ads stay available.

Can I play offline?

Core solo play works offline. Leaderboards, cloud backup and sync, rewarded ads, and purchases need an internet connection.

What is Relaxed Mode?

A calmer mode with no timer or leaderboard entry. Relaxed runs award half points, so you can play at your own pace without affecting competitive scores.

Does my progress sync across devices?

Progress is saved on your device, and Starby has no sign-in account. On iPhone and iPad a copy is kept in iCloud, and your leaderboard best can be carried over to a new installation through Game Center, so keep iCloud on and stay signed in to Game Center. On Android, keep Android's device backup on: it restores app data when you reinstall on the same Google account. Moving between iPhone and Android is not supported.
