Troubleshooting, restoring Remove Ads, privacy choices and a direct route to report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate ad.

Last updated: 11 October 2026

What changed: the rule for when the first ad can appear, daily reminders (new questions), the Game Center sign-in moment, the in-game Support e-mail, Settings, Restore purchase, Privacy choices and changing your age answer in the game updated; accessibility switches and how to rate the game added.

1. Contact Support

Email hello@ostoya.games with Space Quack support in the subject line. Include your device model, iOS version, what you expected, what happened and the steps that reproduce the issue. For a purchase problem, include the product name and the approximate purchase time, but do not send card details, an Apple Account password or a complete receipt containing unnecessary information.

The quickest way is Settings › About › Support in the game: it opens an e-mail with your game version, device model, iOS version and language already filled in.

Support is available in English or Polish.

2. Quick Troubleshooting

The controls do not do what I expect

Tap to jump and swipe left or right to turn at a corner. A swipe made too early is refused rather than ending the run; swipe again once the corner is close.

No sound

Check the SFX and Music switches in Settings (the gear on the main menu) or the pause menu, your volume, the silent switch and Focus settings. Fully close and reopen the app after changing an audio route such as headphones or Bluetooth.

A score or setting did not persist

Close and reopen the app once. SPACE QUACK has no game account or cloud recovery for ordinary local progress, so deleting the app or clearing its data removes it.

I need to change my age answer

Open Settings › About › Age range to switch to a more protective answer (Under 16 or Prefer not to say). To move to 16 or older, delete and reinstall the app; local progress is removed too. See section 6.

The game does not launch correctly

Restart the device, confirm that storage is available and update iOS where practical. Reinstall only after noting that local progress may be removed.

I don’t want reminders / I want reminders

Daily reminders are off until you turn them on in Settings › About › Notifications (or tap Yes when Duck asks after a run). Pick Morning, Lunch, Evening or Late, or switch them off there. If iOS notifications are off for SPACE QUACK, the game shows a button to open iOS Settings. You get at most one a day, none on days you played, and they stop after a quiet week.

How do I rate the game?

Settings › About › Rate the game opens the App Store page. The game may also show Apple’s own rating prompt once, after a strong new personal best.

3. Remove Ads Purchase and Restoration

Remove Ads is a one-time, non-consumable entitlement processed by the App Store. It removes all third-party advertising shown inside SPACE QUACK on your Apple Account. If it does not appear after a purchase:

  1. Confirm that the App Store purchase completed and is not pending.
  2. Close and reopen SPACE QUACK.
  3. Open Settings (the gear on the main menu) or the pause menu and tap Restore purchase under the Remove Ads offer.
  4. Confirm that the device uses the Apple Account that made the purchase.
  5. Retry with a stable connection if the App Store cannot be reached.

Restoration recovers Remove Ads only. It does not restore scores or settings.

If the buyer shares Remove Ads through Apple’s Family Sharing, other members of the Apple family group can use it too: sign in with your own Apple Account in the same family group, then tap Restore purchase. Apple manages family groups and sharing.

4. Pending, Failed or Missing Purchases

A transaction can stay pending because of family or parental approval (Ask to Buy), payment verification, account restrictions, network conditions or App Store service status. SPACE QUACK does not unlock Remove Ads until the App Store reports a valid completed and verified purchase.

If the App Store shows a completed charge but SPACE QUACK cannot restore the entitlement, contact us with the approximate transaction date and only the non-sensitive information needed to identify the issue.

5. Refunds and Purchase History

Apple processes App Store refunds and purchase history, under the App Store terms that apply in your country, including any right of withdrawal they give you. Use Apple’s Report a Problem service for a refund request: Apple Report a Problem.

A refund, cancellation, reversal or revocation may remove Remove Ads. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

6. Privacy, Age, Game Center and Local Data

SPACE QUACK has no account or cloud profile of its own. Your settings, age-range choice and ad counters are stored locally on your device. Nothing in the game asks for your exact age or date of birth. Before any ad, consent or tracking step, the game asks you to choose Under 16, 16 or older, or Prefer not to say.

Under 16, Prefer not to say and unanswered all mean child-protected mode: non-personalised, child-treated ads rated for general audiences, with no Google consent form and no Apple tracking prompt. Players aged 16 or older may be asked for consent and tracking permission, and both can be declined without affecting play.

Does SPACE QUACK use Game Center?

Yes, only to record scores. At a quiet moment (after a run, on the result screen, or with the settings or pause menu open; never during a run) the game asks Game Center to sign you in with the account already set up on your device. If you are signed in, your highest new score is sent to Apple’s Game Center leaderboards at such a moment, and the first time, your earlier best score too. There is no leaderboard, no Game Center button and no sign-in screen in the game. Apple holds that data under Apple’s Privacy Policy; manage it in iOS Settings › Game Center, or sign out there to stop scores being sent.

Deleting the app generally removes local data, subject to operating-system behaviour and backups. Purchase records and Game Center scores are controlled by Apple and may remain available so a valid entitlement can be verified or restored. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Delete or Access My Data

Delete my data

Delete the app: this removes everything the game stores on your device, including settings, your age-range choice, ad counters and any score that has not been sent yet and any reminders the game scheduled. Game Center scores are held by Apple; manage or delete them in iOS Settings › Game Center and in your Apple Account settings. Advertising data is held by Google: use Privacy choices in Settings › About, where it is shown, and Google’s My Ad Center.

Access my data

SPACE QUACK keeps nothing about you on our servers, so there is nothing for us to export. Apple and Google hold the rest: ask Apple for Game Center and purchase data (Apple’s Privacy Policy) and Google for advertising data (Google’s Privacy Policy). For anything about a support request you sent us, email hello@ostoya.games.

8. Accessibility

SPACE QUACK has separate SFX, Music and Haptics switches (Settings or the pause menu) and follows the iOS Reduce Motion setting: idle animations, screen shakes and moving tutorial hints are turned off. On long runs, Restart asks you to tap again so a run is not lost by accident. Exact haptic, sound and accessibility behaviour varies between devices. Send accessibility feedback by email and include your device, the assistive technology or setting in use and the exact screen where the problem occurs.

9. Advertising, Privacy choices and Ad Reports

SPACE QUACK shows only Google AdMob interstitial ads, between runs, and only when you choose to start another run. An ad never appears during play, never before you have played for a while, never after a new personal best, never right after a very short run, and never while you own Remove Ads. These protections will not be weakened without updating this page first; the exact numbers below do, and apply to the version stated.

The current rules

As of version 1.0.0: the first ad only after you have finished at least 8 runs and played for at least 5 minutes in total; after that, an ad only when at least 6 runs and 4 minutes of play (and 3 minutes of clock time) have passed since the previous ad, the run you just finished lasted at least 12 seconds and scored less than 80 % of your best score (this rule applies once your best score is 30 or more), and at most 4 ads have been shown in the current app session. The other limits in this sentence apply to the first ad too. An ad that has not finished loading is skipped rather than shown late. The same rules are summarised in the Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Privacy choices

Where Google requires a privacy-options entry point, Settings › About shows Privacy choices so players aged 16 or older can review or change their Google consent choices. Tracking permission can also be changed in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Refusing consent or tracking does not block gameplay.

Report an ad

To report an inappropriate or age-inappropriate advertisement, email hello@ostoya.games. Include the approximate date and time, the screen where the ad appeared, why it was inappropriate and a screenshot if one is safely available. Do not tap the advertisement just to gather information. Do not send an advertising identifier, payment data, an Apple Account password or information about another person.

Why am I seeing an ad?

Whether an ad can appear depends on whether you own Remove Ads, how long you have been playing, how many runs and how much play time have passed since the last ad, how long and how good your last run was, how many ads you have already seen in this session and whether an ad had already loaded at that break. Ads are non-personalised in child-protected mode. Players aged 16 or older see personalised ads only where both Google consent and Apple’s tracking permission allow it.

10. Complaints

Send a complaint about SPACE QUACK or Remove Ads to hello@ostoya.games with “SPACE QUACK complaint” in the subject, a description of the problem, your device and iOS version and, for a purchase, the App Store receipt number. We answer within 14 days of receipt. See also Complaints and Technical Requirements in the Terms.
